News Release: HCCF CELEBRATES YEAR END AND 32nd ROUND OF GRANT AWARDS

The Harper County Community Foundation recently recognized the grant recipients for the October 2024 round at an Awards Presentation held in conjunction with their End of Year Gala. The event was held at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, October 29th, at the Attica Memorial Building. The meal was catered by KrazyHorse with desserts by Kellie’s Sweet Treats, and the evening concluded with giveaway gift certificates from Red Rooster, KrazyHorse, and Idle Hour.

For this grant round, 39 grant applications were submitted to HCCF with a total of $324,037.70 requested. The Harper County Community Foundation awarded $158,252.00 to 31 organizations and projects that benefit Harper County. These monies from the Waste Connection Landfill Revenues and the Harper County Board of Commissioners represent the 32nd round of grants awarded since the inception of the granting program in May of 2009. The Foundation also awarded monies from their discretionary funds. A total of $3,675,626.00 has been awarded since the inception of this granting process to fund well over 750 projects in Harper County. HCCF’s 2024 Year End Recap includes the following:

  • $3M BASE Grant finalized. Building A Stronger Economy.
  • Prepare To Launch Program. $784,216.45 as of 9/30/2024.
  • Foundant Technologies Software Implementation complete.
  • Patterson Family Foundation Match Day Results. $206,000.00.
  • Patterson Family Foundation Capacity Grant allowed for the hiring of Jessica Graves as Vice President of Operations.
