Scholarship Origin and Details.
The Prepare To Launch Program is a philanthropic leadership organization for residents and students in Harper County, Kansas. The program is funded by the Harper County Community Foundation which oversees the program along with the Harper County Transition to Career Program (T2C) and Harper County Economic/Community Development. The Transition to Career Program is a joint venture of Chaparral and Attica High Schools focusing on career readiness.
The mission of the Prepare to Launch Program: To provide funds for education to residents and students of Harper County, Kansas.
The Prepare to Launch Program awards a one-time scholarship to every Harper County high school graduate from 2018 on. The scholarship is paid directly to any post-secondary institution and must be claimed within ten years of graduation.
Out-of-county residents must have graduated from a Harper County high school.
Proof of residency or attendance may be required and is subject to the review committee.
Application availability.
All Harper County high school graduates and Harper County residents attending an out-of-county high school are eligible to apply for the Harper County Prepare to Launch Scholarship. Applications for PTL graduates from 2018 through 2023 are available below to print and mail to HCCF at P.O. Box 5, Anthony, KS 67003, or email to scholarships@harpercofoundation.org.
